Ariana Grande’s ‘Thank U, Next’ Teaser Reveals She Might Actually Be Regina George

    Gotham/GC Images

Ariana Grande‘s “Thank U, Next” is one of the most satisfying pieces of pop culture in recent memory. For those who’ve followed Grande’s year of personal tumult (and the professional successes that made everything that much, well, sweeter), it felt like the perfect statement at the perfect time, one that found Grande both reclaiming her own voice and achieving hard-won peace.

All this in a three-and-a-half-minute pop tune about moving on — a song that landed Grande her first No. 1 on the Hot 100. Naturally, the forthcoming video for such an Event has sparked a torrent of interest from fans, so much so that they correctly guessed its theme(s) well before the clip was even completed. But it’s nearly here, and based on a teaser Grande dropped early Tuesday (November 27), it’s quite the nostalgia trip we knew it’d be.

The teaser amplifies how “Thank U, Next” has become larger than just a song: Troye Sivan pops up to misread Grande’s “Aubrey” lyric; Mean Girls‘s Jonathan Bennett resurfaces to attribute a Mean Girls quote to her; and even Ari lookalike/vlogger Gabi DeMartino makes an appearance.

Remember: This is just the teaser. The full video is “coming soon,” according to the clip, and we know it’ll take inspiration from Mean Girls, 13 Going on 30, Legally Blonde, and Bring It On. Who knows what other surprises await?

Check out the teaser above, and keep your fingers crossed for another First Wives Club nod in the final version.

Huawei teaser image suggests a phone with a ‘pinhole’ notch

Huawei is being pretty direct with its latest smartphone teaser.

Some people hate the notch and rue the day that Apple’s iPhone X gave it validation. Even though notches are necessary to create room for a front-facing camera, there’s no question it disturbs the symmetry of a true edge-to-edge display.

SEE ALSO: LG V40 ThinQ review: Five cameras and flagship performance give this phone an edge

A few manufacturers have introduced solutions like a pop-up camera, Huawei’s next big smartphone release offers a different approach: instead of a notch, it’ll have a hole. In a teaser image, the top-left corner of the front of the device shows the kind of flare you might expect from a camera flash. That could be literally what it is, or maybe Huawei is taking some artistic license and alluding to a single-lens selfie camera.

In either case, the flare is low enough on the front of the device to imply this is an edge-to-edge display, because if it’s not, the “forehead” would be huge and not at all in keeping with current smartphone design. The inevitable conclusion: The device has a “punch hole” notch, something we haven’t yet seen in smartphone design, although there are rumors that an upcoming Samsung Galaxy phone will sport one as well.

Huawei will release the world’s first hole-screen mobile phone before the Samsung Galaxy A8s, which will be released in December, but the A8s may also be released in December, so who will start, it will wait and see.

Huawei’s offensive against Samsung has never weakened. pic.twitter.com/MqefEgK7j0

    — Ice universe (@UniverseIce) November 26, 2018

It’s an unusual choice to retain a bezel-less display, and you could argue that there are worse places for it. It’s up to you whether this is a better or worse solution than, say, a notch like the one on the Google Pixel 3 XL.

Since Huawei’s notch appears to be a single pinhole, it likely rules out the chance of dual cameras on the front, or any extra sensors.

Samsung’s punch-hole notch is rumored to be called an “Infinity O” display. Both @UniversesIce and SamMobile believe it will first appear in the Galaxy A8S and then the Galaxy S10.

    Image: Weibo

One thing is certain. As long as there are devices with notches (some bigger than others), device manufacturers will attempt to innovate by removing, moving, or hiding said notch.

Jameis Winston, Uber Driver Reach Settlement in Sexual Battery Lawsuit

Jameis Winston and the female Uber driver who accused him of groping her in her car in March of 2016 have reportedly come to a settlement in the sexual battery lawsuit she brought against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, according to Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times.

Per that report, “The driver’s attorney, John Clune, filed court documents Monday showing that his client ‘reached an agreement’ with Winston to resolve the claim,” though the terms of that settlement remain undisclosed.

The woman was seeking $75,000 in damages in the lawsuit, per Baker.

On the night of the alleged groping, the woman claimed she picked Winston up and drove him to a Mexican restaurant. She said he “‘became belligerent,’ swore and used racial slurs out the window during the drive,” per Baker.

Once they reached the drive-through of the restaurant, the woman said Winston “reached over without warning, ‘placed his fingers between her legs and pressed them firmly against’ her genitals, over her yoga pants.”

Winston later apologized publicly to the woman, and the NFL suspended him for three games following its own investigation into the matter, finding the Uber driver’s account “consistent and credible.”

Alongside his suspension, the NFL also determined that Winston was required to “obtain a clinical evaluation and fully cooperate with any recommended program of therapeutic intervention.”

Winston’s settlement would be his second with women who accused him of sexual assault. In 2016, he settled two federal lawsuits with a woman who accused him of rape while he was attending Florida State in 2012. The university also settled a Title IX lawsuit with the woman after she accused Florida State of improperly handling her accusations.

Zwarte Piet: Black Pete is ‘Dutch racism in full display’

Amsterdam – The late-November arrival of Sinterklaas in the Netherlands heralds three weeks of holiday festivities.

And, for the eighth year running, it is also accompanied by protests against Zwarte Piet, or Black Pete, Sinterklaas’ helper, who many see as a racist stereotype.

While Sinterklaas, portrayed as an elderly white man, arrives by ship and rides a white horse through parades across the Netherlands, hundreds of adults and children dress up as his helper, Zwarte Piet, wearing blackface, painted large red lips and black curly wigs, and some with large golden earrings.

This year, Sinterklaas’ arrival on November 17 was greeted by protests against Black Pete in 18 cities across the Netherlands. Around 40 people were arrested, primarily counter protesters supporting Zwarte Piet, who attacked anti-racist demonstrators with eggs and bananas, and in some places Hitler salutes.

In Eindhoven and Rotterdam, the counter protests in support of Black Pete were particularly intense, with reports that extreme right-wing supporters had dressed up as Zwarte Piet, and handed out candy and right-wing political party stickers to children.

We were threatened by these people, very aggressively. They even did the Hitler sign, and in some places white power signs. It was a like a weekend of Dutch racism in full display

    Jerry Afriyie, anti-racism campaigner

Jerry Afriyie, along with Quinsy Gario, was one of the two founders of the Zwarte Piet is Racisme campaign in 2011.

He said: “There were bananas thrown at us. There were eggs thrown at us. We were called all types of racists slurs. We were threatened by these people, very aggressively. They even did the Hitler sign, and in some places white power signs. It was a like a weekend of Dutch racism in full display, and people saw it.

“A lot of people were shocked, but you know who was not shocked? Black people are not shocked. We have been saying it.”

Afriyie arrived in  the Netherlands from Ghana when he was 10.

“They would call me Zwarte Piet, or you are dirty just like Zwarte Piet. You are only good to be Zwarte Piet.”

Until then, he thought the Sinterklaas festivities were just about fun and collecting sweets.

“I was a child and not politically aware, but I realized we played this dress up with this character who is dumb, who is silly, who doesn’t know much, who needs someone to lead the way, who keeps messing up, who is looking very ugly, and then realising that I am the butt of the joke, I was 12 years old when I realised it.

“So I was like hold on, this thing that I thought was fun seems to be that I am the star of this play without knowing it, and definitely not the role I want to have. On the bus, people would throw those candies they make for Sinterklaas season, they would throw it at you making monkey sounds.”

He tried to engage both students and teachers in a dialogue, but as he puts it, the country just looked away.

Every year, adults and children dress up as Zwarte Piet [Micah Garen/Al Jazeera]

Many people in the Netherlands support Black Pete, and a majority of the country seems resistant to changing the tradition.

In a controversial statement in 2014 that has gone viral, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said: “Black Pete is black and I can not change that because his name is Black Pete.”

“It is not green Pete, or brown Pete, it is Black Pete
I can only say that my friends in the Dutch Antilles they are very happy when they have Sinterklaas because they don’t have to paint their faces, and when I am playing Black Pete I am for days trying to get the stuff off my face.”

The exact origins of Black Pete are mired in myth and controversy. Dutch people have a slightly different origin story depending on when and where they grew up -in the big cities of the industrial west or in rural parts of the rest of the country.

Black Pete is Saint Nicholas’ assistant. Some recent participants smudged colour rather than wearing full blackface [Eva Plevier/Reuters]

The basic story of Sint-Nikolaas, or Sinterklaas, in the Netherlands is that he comes from Spain, arriving by steam ship, with a black helper, who, when his sack of toys was empty, would fill his bag with children who had been bad and return to Spain.

Most would agree that it was a schoolteacher from Amsterdam, Jan Schenkman, who first introduced the character of Zwarte Piet in an illustrated book, Sint Nikolaas en zijn Knecht, in 1850.

It was a time when the Netherlands was still deeply engaged in the slave trade. The Netherlands didn’t abolish slavery in its territories until 1863.

Historian Lise Koning has written about the link between Zwarte Piet and the blackface minstrel shows created in America in the 1800s that were known throughout Europe.

Protests against the tradition say the character is a racist portrayal of black people [Eva Plevier/Reuters]

Others connect Zwarte Piet to traditional narratives from the Middle Ages in which Saint Nicholas was paired with a dark helper who represented a tamed devil or evil character.

Whatever the exact origins, it is clear that the character of Zwarte Piet is a tradition and history that many Dutch have yet to come to terms with.

Wil Eikelboom, a human rights lawyer in Amsterdam who represents many in the anti-Black Pete movement, says he grew up with a “Chimney Piet” myth, “who was black because he came through the chimney and was a harmless helper. It was embarrassingly late when I realised that if he came through the chimney you don’t have thick red lips or black curly hair, this is probably a stereotype of a black man, and this had to be pointed out to me by protesters.”

“To accept that a part of your childhood memory is in hindsight a racist thing is very difficult for a lot of people.”

A typical refrain from those who don’t want change is that the festival is “for the children”, but Afriyie sees it differently.

He lives in a black community, Amsterdam Southeast, and was raised there.

“I was trying to do my part to put some pride into these young black girls and boys, be proud of who you are, because we have seen many examples of children coming home and jumping in the shower trying to wash their skin off because the children at school are teasing them that they are ugly, that they are dirty.

“One girl recently was asking why can other kids get clean but I can’t? Why is my dirtiness permanent? And she was referring to her skin.”

People are free to do Shabbat, Ramadan, pray three times a day but a Dutch person is not free to celebrate Black Pete? It’s an outrage.

    Jonathan, hospitality entrepreneur

The Black Pete narrative has already changed in Amsterdam in recent years.

As the beginning of change, you can see white people with smudges, whereas before they made blackface Piets.

But you don’t have to travel far out of Amsterdam to find people celebrating in blackface Zwarte Piet.

Just 20 minutes north of Amsterdam lies the small idyllic tourist center of Zaandam, with windmills and chocolate factories.

This year Zandaam hosted the main Sinterklaas arrival parade on November 17, televised live by the largest Dutch broadcaster, NTR.

Today, anti-racist protestors peacefully calling for the abolition of ‘Black Pete’ – the blackface servant of the Dutch Santa Claus – were spat on by bystanders, attacked by violent mobs, and beaten by the police officers supposedly in charge of their protection.

    — Tom Vandeputte (@tvandeputte) November 17, 2018

Even though the broadcaster said in October there would be no Zwarte Piet characters in blackface, Zwarte Piets were there by the bus load, 150 in total, escorted by dozens of police officers. No protesters were allowed near the event.

In a traditional Dutch bar, Jonathan, a hospitality entrepreneur sits watching a football match. He’s reluctant to comment at first, but eventually says that he believes the Black Pete debate is ridiculous.

“If there is one country where people don’t discriminate, it’s the Netherlands. Why do all Dutch traditions have to be ruined? People are free to do Shabbat, Ramadan, pray three times a day but a Dutch person is not free to celebrate Black Pete? It’s an outrage. In all honesty I think it’s a political game. It’s a distraction from the things that really matter.”

“Black Pete is not about Black Pete,” says Lambrecht Wessels, who works in the NGO sector.

He sees the growing battle over Sinterklaas’ helper as a proxy for much larger issues in the country, mainly rapidly changing demographics, economic insecurity and a lack of a proper migration policy, all of which have fuelled a recent rise of nationalist politics in the Netherlands.

“People’s fears are expressed through Black Pete. When these other issues are addressed, then people will be more ready to change Black Pete to sooted Pete, or chimney Pete.”

While some feel that those changes are still not enough, Afriyie is optimistic about the progress being made.

He spends much of his time talking to schools about race and Zwarte Piet.

“A lot of schools have changed Zwarte Piet. Utrecht has changed, this year Rotterdam says they will do like Amsterdam next year. When we started there was this big goliath, now we see the big group is getting smaller and the small group is getting larger.”

As the debate continues, one thing is clear: when Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet leave the Netherlands on December 6, the controversy of Black Pete will remain, awaiting their arrival next year.

Mueller protection bill could get Senate vote

    Robert Mueller

“I don’t think the president’s going to fire Bob Mueller,” Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn said on Tuesday. | AP Photo/Manuel Balce Ceneta

    Legal

The move would pave the way to confirming more of Trump’s judges.

The Senate could vote on a bill to protect special counsel Robert Mueller in order to clear away a potential logjam on President Donald Trump’s judicial nominees, the No. 2 Senate Republican said on Tuesday.

Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn (R-Texas) said several times on Hugh Hewitt’s radio show that the chamber could vote on a bill that would codify some protections for special counsel investigations, a key demand of Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), who has said he will oppose all judicial nominees until he gets his vote.

    Story Continued Below

Without Flake, the 51-member GOP has no margin for error on some nominees; a vote this week to install Thomas Farr on a District Count in North Carolina is in danger due to opposition from Democrats and undecided moderates who are concerned he is hostile to voting rights.

“There is a possibility we will have a vote on the so-called Mueller protection bill. But I think there really is some serious constitutional issues on that, and I certainly don’t support it. I don’t think the president’s going to fire Bob Mueller,” Cornyn said. “We are checking with our members now to see exactly
how it would come out. It may be that he does get that opportunity.”

Senate Republicans could also measure support for the bill in the caucus and show to Flake the bill can’t pass in a bid to appease him without holding a vote. The Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to consider more judges on Thursday.

Democrats have joined Flake’s call, and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) reiterated his hopes that the bill would be included in a must-pass spending bill next week. Republican leaders have shrugged off those demands, which would force a confrontation with the president and complicate a shutdown fight that’s already raging over Trump’s border wall.

Though Trump continues to rail against Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has said the bill is not necessary and has shown little interest in holding a vote on the bill.

The legislation would ensure that special counsels can be fired for making mistakes on the job or other “good cause” and allows judicial review of firings for other reasons. It also would only allow Senate-confirmed officials to fire the special counsel; acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker — a longtime critic of the Mueller probe — has not been confirmed.

A standalone vote could offer a way around Flake’s judicial blockade, which threatens to delay some nominees in the narrowly divided Senate Judiciary Committee.

For now, only a handful of Republicans support the Mueller protection bill, and few are pushing as hard as Flake.

GOP Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), Thom Tillis of North Carolina, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Susan Collins of Maine all back the bill and several other Republicans have said they could support it. Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), who opposed the bill in committee, said supporters “have every right” to have a vote on the measure.

Still, the measure currently appears short of the 60 votes necessary to overcome a filibuster.

“If we can have a relatively expedited up or down vote, and my preference is that it fail, but at least he will have had his shot. And my hope is that he then agree to let us confirm the judges that are on the calendar,” Cornyn said. “They’ve been through a long, arduous process, many of them putting their practice and their families on hold while they’re waiting for confirmation. So it’s unfair to simply tell them to start over again next year.”

The Farr nomination is among the trickiest votes left this year for Republicans, with Democrats hoping to pick off one more Republican to bring him down.

Republicans did pick up a key supporter on Tuesday: Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) will support Farr, according to a source familiar with his plans, suggesting that the nominee is not in is much trouble as a previous nominee — Ryan Bounds, who was withdrawn after Rubio and other Republicans turned on him in July.

Ted Cruz has a unsettling new ‘beard’ and people can’t look away

    2016%2f09%2f16%2f56%2fhttpsd2mhye01h4nj2n.cloudfront.netmediazgkymde2lzax.6d630By Nicole Gallucci

No Shave November is almost over, but Ted Cruz’s “beard” looks like it’s just seconds old.

On Monday, Business Insider’s Joe Perticone tweeted that Ted Cruz had “grown a beard” over the Thanksgiving break, but some people are having a hard time locating it.

If you zoom in on the photo of Cruz, you’ll notice that dark area around certain parts of his jawline (and not at all his chin) appears to be hair. Not a shadow. Not dirt. Hmm. Fascinating.

SEE ALSO: Hopefully Ted Cruz stays off Twitter today

If staring at Ted’s bare chin has boggled your mind a bit and you’ve forgotten what a beard looks, shift your gaze to the two men behind the Texas Senator who definitely have beards. See the difference?

There are several theories floating around as to why exactly Cruz decided to go grunge, but those who aren’t overthinking the reasoning behind the facial hair are just plain appalled at how comically bad it looks.

Ted Cruz grew a shitty beard to distract us from the fact that he can’t grow a regular looking beard

    — Tamara Yajia (@DancesWithTamis) November 27, 2018

I don’t know what that is on Ted Cruz’s face, but it’s not a beard. 😳

It’s most likely just another way to hide from his constituents. đŸ€Šâ€â™€ïž pic.twitter.com/Gk2rmbt18V

I found a maggot in my oatmeal this morning, which was not good, though it was arguably less disturbing than seeing Ted Cruz with his “beard,” so. I got that going for me.

This is a real beard in much the same way that Ted Cruz is a real human being.

There’s now video of the gender reveal party that started a wildfire and it is really something

Remember the infamous gender reveal party that went so wrong it sparked a massive wildfire? Well, video of it has finally been released, and it as gloriously idiotic as you’d expect.

The incident happened back in Arizona in April 2017, but now thanks to a Freedom of Information Act request from the Arizona Daily Star the video has been made public.

SEE ALSO: The 7 most dangerous gender reveal parties

It begins as off-duty Border Patrol Agent Dennis Dickey shoots an explosive target to reveal the gender of the baby he and his wife were expecting. You can briefly see a cloud of blue — it’s a boy! — before the grass around the target quickly goes up in flames. Smart location choice, guys!

The fire spread and ended up burning 47,000 acres around the Santa Rita Mountain foothills in southeast Arizona before it was finally contained thanks to the efforts of 800 firefighters. All told, fighting the wildfire cost over $8 million but Dickey was ordered to pay only $220,000 when, in September, he pled guilty to a single misdemeanor charge of causing a fire without a permit.

Let this be a lesson: End gender reveal parties.

The Sixers Have to Dump Markelle Fultz, but Good Luck Finding a Trade Partner

Philadelphia 76ers' Markelle Fultz before an NBA basketball game against the Milwaukee Bucks Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018, in Milwaukee. (AP Photo/Aaron Gash)

    Bleacher Report

BROOKLYN — Markelle Fultz spent Sunday night’s Sixers-Nets game the way any inactive player would: sitting on the bench among his teammates, dapping them up following timeouts as they walked off the floor, sharing words of encouragement and advice with the player—TJ McConnell—who had replaced him in the rotation.

When Jimmy Butler drilled a step-back three-pointer from the right wing, capping off a 20-point comeback and lifting the Sixers to a 127-125 win, there was Fultz, donning a red blazer and white button-down shirt, smiling and jumping around among a sea of Sixers players and staff.

This is how Fultz has spent his past week: traveling with the team, hanging out in the locker room, watching practices from the sidelines, sitting on the bench during games.

“Things have been regular, the same with him,” Sixers forward Wilson Chandler told Bleacher Report on Sunday night. “We’ve been interacting the same way.”

From left to right: Wilson Chandler, Fultz and Landry Shamet.

From left to right: Wilson Chandler, Fultz and Landry Shamet.Mitchell Leff/Getty Images

That Fultz has tried to treat all this like a normal week underscores just how strange things are for Fultz and the Sixers. This is not just another player recovering from an injury.

Less than one week ago, Fultz’s agent Raymond Brothers notified the Sixers that Fultz would be heading off in a few days to have his right shoulder examined by a “specialist.” That came the night after head coach Brett Brown benched Fultz in the second half against the Phoenix Suns.

This is the same shoulder that Fultz and his camp have adamantly asserted is the cause for his broken jump shot, though we’ve learned in the days since that Fultz will be having his right wrist examined as well.

In the meantime, Brothers told the Sixers Fultz would cease participating in practices and games. It’s been bizarre to watch—the 2017 No. 1 overall pick demoted to cheerleader, not because the team that invested in him believes he’s hurt. But because he and his camp are convinced that an injury yet to be discovered does, in fact, exist.

Perhaps this specialist does indeed unearth an ailment that could explain the short-circuiting of Fultz’s jumper. In the short term, though, that may not matter.

Even before this latest setback, executives across the league had gotten the impression that the Sixers were ready to move on from Fultz, according to league sources. The Butler trade had crystallized their priorities. The Sixers are chasing titles now, and Fultz’s early-season performance had left no indication he could help them reach those heights anytime soon.

Sixers general manager Elton Brand wasn’t actively shopping Fultz, according to a team source, but one GM said, it “seemed like they were open to trading him.” Another source said they were itching to do so before this year’s Feb. 7 trade deadline.

That was before Fultz’s camp elected to blow up whatever goodwill had been built between the two sides by blindsiding the Sixers.

Last week, Brand said the following when asked why Fultz would have to wait six days for his consultation: “I asked [Raymond Brothers] why Monday. He said that’s the best time they can get an appointment. I thought they might move it up for him, but I guess not. So Monday is the appointment.”

    Sixers general manager Elton Brand.

It’s fair to say the clock clock seems to be winding down on Fultz’s time in Philadelphia. The question is: what options do the Sixers have?

Trading him would seem to be the obvious answer, but doing so is easier said than done. Fultz is averaging an unimpressive 8.2 points and 3.1 assists in 22.5 minutes per game. He’s connected on just 4-of-14 from three. The Sixers offense cratered whenever he stepped onto the court (8.5 points per 100 possessions worse, according to NBA.com), due to his inability to space the floor.

Then there’s the mysterious case of his jump shot, which most observers around the NBA, despite Fultz’s insistence otherwise, attribute to a mental block as opposed to a shoulder injury. Fultz seems unwilling to acknowledge this could be the root of his issues, which has some teams worried about the likelihood of him fixing this issue in the future.

And yet Fultz remains a No. 1 pick who has flashed the skills that propelled him up draft boards.

“He’s shown that when he’s willing to, he can get that 15-foot jumper any time, and some of his moves in the paint or on the break are the kinds of things most guys just can’t do,” was how one Eastern Conference scout described Fultz’s game earlier this season. It is why an opposing general manager said he believes “there could be a limited market for [Fultz].”

The Phoenix Suns could be an option. Veteran wing Trevor Ariza, with his three-and-D skill set, would be a perfect fit for the Sixers, who have been overplaying their stars. Head coach Brett Brown has been rolling with an eight-man rotation after trading for Butler.

Ariza can’t be traded until Dec. 15, but with him on a one-year deal and the Suns already out of playoff contention, they could make a move. Being in a smaller NBA market could benefit Fultz as well.

Maybe Brand can convince the Magic, who are giving their point guard minutes to D.J. Augustin and Jerian Grant, to take a flyer on Fultz. Or maybe the Cavaliers, another small-market team in desperate need of a talent injection, would roll the dice.

It’s all going to come down to the Sixers’ asking price.

“I’d be surprised if they get any type of first-round pick,” another team executive said. “It’s just hard for any team who is trying to have space this summer to take a flyer on a guy like that who will eat into their space like he will.”

That’s because Fultz, a former No. 1 pick, is slated to make $9.7 million next year. If his fourth-year option is picked up, he’d cost $12.3 million in 2020-2021.

That’s the thing with this situation: wild as it sounds, time is running out.

The Sixers have to decide by October whether to pick up that $12.3 million option. If they elect not to, Fultz becomes a free agent. The Sixers are going to have to pay Butler and fill out the roster with players capable of helping them chase a title, so it’s hard to see the them going this route.

That destroys his value on the trade market next year, which means the Sixers have up until this season’s trade deadline to make a move.

That is not the ideal fate for a player selected first overall in last year’s draft. But focusing on what Fultz  was is besides the point. He’s a sunk cost, no longer a player who can help the Sixers. Given the current reality, turning him into anything that can help them win now would be a win.
